2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash at Wurzbach Pkwy and Wetmore Road in San Antonio

Two Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at Wurzbach Pkwy and Wetmore Road

San Antonio, Texas (October 23, 2021) – Two people were injured early Saturday morning in a wrong-way crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 3:00 a.m., at the intersection of Wurzbach Pkwy and Wetmore Road.

Police said a man in his 20s was driving eastbound on the westbound side of Wurzbach Parkway when he crashed into another vehicle at the intersection.

The man had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

The other driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of Wurzbach Parkway at Nacogdoches.

The crash remains under investigation.
