Two Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on E 19th Street at MLK
San Angelo, Texas (July 19, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in San Angelo, according to the police.
The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. July 18, in the area of E 19th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Police said a white SUV attempted to make a left-turn onto MLK and failed to yield the right-of-way to a black SUV, resulting in a collision. Both cars had been traveling in opposite directions on E 19th Street.
Both drivers were taken to Shannon with minor injuries.
The driver of the white SUV was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way and for driving without a driver’s license.
The crash remains under investigation.
