Two Killed and One Injured in North Austin Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near East 53rd Street

Austin, Texas (July 11, 2021) – According to the authorities, two people were killed, and another was injured early Saturday morning in a three-vehicle crash in North Austin.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., July 10, on the southbound I-35 service road near East 53rd Street.

Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the wreck.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

An adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
