Ty Pressley and Michael Perez Killed, Quinton Pressley Injured in Orange County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 624 at FM 70

Orange Grove, Texas (November 25, 2023) – The two people who were killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash near Orange Grove have been identified as Ty Pressley,19, of Sandia, Texas, and Michael Perez,48, of Corpus Christi, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on November 22, at the intersection of FM 70 and FM 624.

DPS said 18-year-old Quinton Pressley of Odem, was driving a Ford Expedition when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a crane driven by Perez.

The SUV spun out of control and caught fire.

Ty Pressley who was a passenger in the Ford was trapped in the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Perez was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Quinton was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital in fair condition.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
