1 Killed, 1 Injured after Truck Rear-Ends Lexus on N Central Expressway in Richardson

Passenger Killed, Driver Injured in Richardson Crash on N Central Expressway

Richardson, Texas (April 13, 2022) – One person was killed and another was injured in a rear-end collision early Wednesday morning in Richardson, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash occurred at around 3:22 a.m. in the 2000 block of N. Central Expressway.

As per the report, a Dodge Ram pickup was heading southbound on N. Central Expressway when it slammed into the back of a Lexus sedan that was stopped in the left lane.

A passenger in the Lexus sedan was declared dead at the scene, while the driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Dodge pickup driver was unhurt.

The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The crash remains under investigation.
