2 Killed in Head-On Crash on Hwy 175 in Cuney

69-Year-Old and 28-Year-Old Men Killed in Cuney Head-On Crash on Highway 175

Cuney, Texas – Two people were killed and several others were injured Friday night in a head-on collision in Cuney, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on December 8, on Highway 175.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, causing a third vehicle to go airborne and roll.

Two people, a 69-year-old man, and a 28-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger of the 28-year-old was airlifted to a Tyler hospital for surgery. The infant in their vehicle was flown to Dallas for treatment.

Four additional passengers in the third vehicle were taken by ground ambulance to UT Jacksonville for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
