Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Sam Rayburn Tollway and Stacy Road in McKinney

One Killed in McKinney Motorcycle Crash at Sam Rayburn Tollway and Stacy Road

McKinney, Texas (June 28, 2022) – According to a local news source, a motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash in McKinney.

The deadly accident happened around 3:45 p.m., June 26, at the intersection of Sam Rayburn Tollway service road (121) and Stacy Road.

According to the report, witnesses said they saw a driver who was traveling at a high rate of speed and then ran a red light at the intersection before hitting a motorcycle.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old man, was arrested and has been charged with Manslaughter.

The crash remains under investigation.
