82-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run on Royal Lane in NW Dallas

82-Year-Old Woman Killed, 13-Year-Old Girl Seriously Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash at Rosser Road and Royal Lane

Dallas, Texas (November 8, 2022) – An 82-year-old woman was killed and a 13-year-old girl was seriously injured Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident in northwest Dallas, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened shortly after 11:00 a.m., November 7, at the intersection of Rosser Road and Royal Lane.

Police said a gray-colored 2005 Toyota Avalon was heading eastbound on Royal Lane when it struck a gray Honda Accord that was at the stop sign.

The 82-year-old woman, who was in the Honda, was taken to the hospital where she later died. Her name has not been released.

Two female teenagers fled the scene after the crash.

The 13-year-old girl who was in the front right passenger seat of the suspect vehicle was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
