2 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on US 281 in San Antonio

Man and Woman Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on US 281 near Old Corpus Christi Road

San Antonio, Texas (July 3, 2023) – Two people were killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s Southeast Side, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 10:00 p.m., on U.S. Highway 281 near Old Corpus Christi Road.

Police said a small silver car pulled out of the parking lot and was struck by an SUV.

A man and woman were trapped in the small car and were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.

The SUV driver passed a field sobriety test and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The highway was closed for three hours and has since reopened.

The police are investigating the crash.
