3 Injured in Head-On Crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 in Heartland

3 Injured, 2 Airlifted after Heartland Crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 near Moonlight Trail
Heartland, Texas (May 19, 2019) – Three people were injured Saturday morning in a head-on crash in Heartland, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened at about 6:15 a.m. Saturday, May 18 on Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 near Moonlight Trail.
The DPS said a black Nissan Altima was heading northbound on FM 741 when for an unknown reason it veered into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a Chevy Malibu that was heading southbound on FM 741.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated two people who were trapped inside their vehicle. Both drivers sustained serious but non-incapacitating injuries and were airlifted to Methodist Medical Center in Dallas.
A third person was taken by ground ambulance to Baylor.
The crash remains under investigation.
