Four Injured in Victoria Bus Accident on Sam Houston Drive at Leary Lane

Victoria, Texas (June 8, 2019) – Four people were injured in a bus accident on Thursday in Victoria, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred on Thursday, June 6, in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Drive at the intersection of Leary Lane.

AS per the report, 19-year-old Erica Martinez was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Leary Lane when she failed to stop at a red light and her truck collided with the back right corner of a transit bus which was heading northbound on Sam Houston Drive.

Four people in the bus, a woman, a child, and two men, were taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro with treatment.

An investigation is underway.
