Lisa Vann Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on East Ben White Boulevard

Austin, Texas (September 15, 2020) – The woman who was injured last month in a hit-and-run crash in South Austin has died, according to police.

The accident happened just before 3:30 a.m., August 25, in the 300 block of East Ben White Boulevard service road.

Police said Lisa Vann, 57, was standing in the middle of the roadway when she was struck by a dark four-door sedan.

The sedan fled the scene after the accident.

Vann was taken to South Austin Medical Center, where she later died.

The authorities are still looking for the hit-and-run driver.
