71-Year-Old Woman Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Campbellton Road

San Antonio, Texas (August 24, 2020) – A 71-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in San Antonio, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened just after 2:00 p.m., August 23, in the 23000 block of Campbellton Road.

Deputies said the woman was driving when she veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into another car.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The other driver, a 70-year-old woman, was taken to SAMMC with serious injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
