89-Year-Old Man Killed in Sealy 8-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

Sealy, Texas (September 21, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was killed on Monday in an 8-vehicle crash in Sealy.

The fatal crash happened on September 20, on Interstate 10.

Authorities said a vehicle had a blowout and stopped in the middle of the roadway, causing a chain-reaction crash involving a total of eight vehicles, including an 18-wheeler.

One of the drivers, an 89-year-old man, was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

Three other people were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
