David Saenz-Cera Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash at Highway 302 and FM 1936 in Ector County

David Saenz-Cera ID’d as 1 of 3 Victims Killed in Ector County Crash at Highway 302 and FM 1936

Ector County, Texas (July 13, 2022) – David Saenz-Cera, 35, of Dumas, Texas, has been identified as one of the three people who were killed in a two-vehicle collision on Monday night at an intersection in Ector County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash took place at the intersection of Highway 302 and FM 1936 on July 11.

DPS said Adan Castillo-Venzor, 26, of Wichita, Kansas, was driving a 2017 Ford F-350 northbound on FM 1936 when he failed to yield the right of way at a yield sign and collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu that was being driven westbound on State Highway 302 by Keethan James Gould, 40, of Farmington, New Mexico.

Gould and his two passengers, Saenz-Cera and Angel A. Rico DeLeon, 27, of Big Lake, Texas, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Castillo-Venzor and his passenger, Israel Gonzalez-Nunez, 40, of Seminole, Texas, were transported to Medical Center Hospital, where they are in stable condition.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
