79-Year-Old Bobbie Green Killed in Elmo Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 80

Elmo, Texas (February 21, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday night near Elmo in eastern Kaufman County, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. February 17, on U.S. Highway 80 at County Road 316.

DPS said a Lexus was attempting to cross U.S. Highway 80 from CR 316 when it was struck by a flatbed truck.

An occupant in the Lexus, 79-year-old Bobbie Green of Terrell, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people sustained injuries in the crash.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
