2 Dead, 2 Hurt in Longview Car Accident on Alpine Road between Loop 281 and Boston Street

Longview, Texas (June 30, 2019) – Two people were killed and two others were injured in a traffic accident in Longview Friday night, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened on Alpine Road, between Loop 281 and Boston Street Friday, June 29.

Authorities said a car was heading southbound on Alpine Road when for an unknown reason it crossed over the center median into the northbound lane and collided with another vehicle that was traveling northbound.

Two people died in the wreck and two others sustained unspecified injuries. Their names have not yet been disclosed.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
