Woman and SAPD Officer Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 90 in San Antonio

40-Year-Old Woman and SAPD Officer Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 90 near Cupples Road

San Antonio, Texas (July 13, 2022) – A 40-year-old woman and a San Antonio police officer were injured early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 6:00 a.m., on Highway 90 westbound, just before Cupples Road.

Police said the woman’s vehicle had either stopped or was at a near stop on the roadway when it was rear-ended by a westbound SAPD patrol vehicle.

The vehicle had its hazard lights on but was positioned on a hillcrest.

The woman was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The officer was also taken to a local hospital with a possible concussion.

The woman was not intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
