Andra Smith ID’d as Pedestrian Killed after Being Struck by Vehicle Friday night on U.S. 77 near CR 466 in Golinda

Golinda, Texas (August 14, 2022) – The pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in Golinda has been identified as Andra Smith, 27.

The deadly pedestrian crash occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Friday, August 12 on U.S. 77 near CR 466.

Authorities said Smith, a resident of Chilton, stepped into the traffic lane and was struck by a Ford F250 that was traveling southbound.

Smith died at the scene.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
