Anthony Johnson Killed, Calvin Hill Injured in Bus Crash on Texas 6 in College Station

Anthony Johnson Killed and Calvin Hill Seriously Injured in College Station Bus Crash on Texas 6

College Station, Texas (November 23, 2022) – One person was killed, and two others were seriously injured on Saturday in a fiery crash involving a Santa’s Wonderland bus in College Station, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on November 19, on Texas 6.

Police said Anthony Dewayne Johnson of Navasota was driving an SUV southbound on the feeder road when his car left the roadway, crossed the center median into the northbound lanes where it struck the Santa’s Wonderland bus that was transporting patrons from Santa’s Wonderland to Post Oak Mall.

Both vehicles caught fire after the crash.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A woman who was a passenger in the SUV was pulled out of the vehicle and was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.

The bus driver, Calvin Hill of Bryan, a coach at Rudder High School, was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
