Antonio Martinez Killed in Conroe Two-Vehicle Crash on Crockett Martin Road

Conroe, Texas (July 19, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, a man was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash eight miles southeast of Conroe.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 a.m., July 17, on Crockett Martin Road.

DPS said Antonio Martinez, 31, of Conroe, was driving a 1995 Ford Mustang southbound when he entered the northbound lanes and collided with a 2023 Hyundai Sonata.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Sonata driver was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe in fair condition.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
