Raymond Lynch Killed in Houston Pedestrian Crash on North Freeway (IH-45)

Houston, Texas (April 9, 2021) – A man was killed early Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:50 a.m., April 6, in the 8500 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).

Police said Raymond Lynch, 44, was crossing the freeway when he was struck by a white Buick Verano sedan in the southbound lane exit ramp.  

Lynch was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Buick driver remained at the scene and was not intoxicated at the time of the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
