Austin Tenpenny Killed in New Braunfels Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 N
New Braunfels, Texas (January 12, 2019) – A man was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash on a New Braunfels freeway, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened at an unspecified time on Friday, January 11, in the 3900 block of I-35 N northbound frontage road.
As per the article, Austin Tenpenny, 23, of San Marcos was driving a Jeep when he rear-ended a utility trailer which was being towed by a big rig.
Tenpenny was pronounced dead at the scene.
The big rig driver was uninjured in the crash.
The New Braunfels Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
