Belton Johnson Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Lamar Street near N New Braunfels

San Antonio, Texas (April 22, 2021) – According to the authorities, a man was killed earlier this month in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio.

The deadly accident occurred around 5:22 a.m., April 1, on Lamar Street near N New Braunfels.

Authorities said Belton Johnson, 66, was walking to work when he was struck from behind by a stolen maroon 4-door vehicle.

The driver of the stolen vehicle fled the scene.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
