1 Seriously Injured in Rendon Bicycle Accident on FM 1187 near Bennett Lawson Road

Rendon, Texas (July 31, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday in Rendon, according to the authorities.

The accident took place on July 30, on Farm to Market Road 1187 near Bennett Lawson Road.

Authorities said a bicyclist was riding along the roadway when they were hit by a car for unknown reasons.

The Rendon Fire Department, EMS, and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

The bicyclist was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with serious injuries.

An investigation is underway.
