Billie Brazell Killed in Clovis Two-Vehicle Crash at 21st and Mitchell Streets

Clovis, Texas – One person was killed on Christmas Day in a two-vehicle crash in Clovis, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:19 p.m., December 25, at the intersection of 21st and Mitchell Streets.

Police said a Toyota Corolla driven by Billie Brazell, 83, was traveling westbound on 21st Street and was attempting to turn southbound onto Mitchell Street. A Dodge Charger driven by a 24-year-old man was traveling eastbound on 21st Street when it crashed into the Toyota.

Brazell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses said the Dodge Charger had been racing a truck, just prior to the crash. The truck left the scene and has not been located.
