Wesley Preas Killed in Coleman County Pedestrian Accident at Commercial Avenue and Walnut Street

Coleman County, Texas (December 2, 2023) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday morning in Coleman County, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened just before 8:00 a.m., December 1, at the intersection of Commercial Avenue and Walnut Street.

Authorities said Wesley Earl Preas, 67, of Coleman, was walking at the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle.

Preas was airlifted to a Fort Worth hospital where he later died.

No further details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
