Craig Ross Dies in July 3 Motorcycle Crash at 50th Street and Avenue D in Lubbock

Craig Ross Killed in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash at 50th Street and Avenue D

Lubbock, Texas (July 12, 2022) – The motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a crash on July 3 in Lubbock has died, according to the police.

Craig Ross, 52, died on July 10.

The accident was reported around 2:08 a.m., at the intersection of 50th Street and Avenue D.

Police said Ross was riding his motorcycle eastbound in the 400 block of 50th Street when he collided with an SUV that was turning southbound onto Avenue D.

Ross was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries, where he later died.

The SUV driver, Darlena Williams, 31, and her passenger, 29-year-old Chron Taylor, suffered minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
