Pedro Salas Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Dyer Avenue

El Paso, Texas (June 24, 2023) – The man who was killed on June 10 in a hit-and-run accident in El Paso has been identified as 57-year-old Pedro Salas, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:41 p.m., in the 8200 block of Dyer Avenue.

Police said Salas was crossing the street at the crosswalk when he was struck by a light-colored car, knocking him down. While on the ground, he was struck by a white GMC.

Both vehicles fled the scene.

Salas was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The GMC driver was identified as 28-year-old Esteban Armando Nava.
