One Killed and One Injured in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash on East 2nd Street 

Odessa, Texas (February 23, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision in Odessa, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:34 p.m., February 22, in the 900 block of East 2nd Street.

Police said a man was driving a Dodge eastbound on the street when he entered the turning lane and crashed head-on into a truck.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. His name has been released.

The truck driver was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
