One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on North Bell Street and La Follette Street

San Angelo, Texas – One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 2:00 p.m., January 18, at the intersection of North Bell Street and La Follette Street.

According to the report, a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling westbound on the access road while a Toyota Prius was traveling northbound on Bell Street. The Prius ran the red light at the intersection and collided with the Santa Fe.

The Prius driver was taken to the hospital for treatment and will be issued citations for disregarding the red light and for not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
