Carolyn Davis, Lloyd Davis Injured in Car Crash on US 59 in Shepherd

Carolyn Davis and Lloyd Davis Injured in Shepherd Two-Vehicle Crash on US 59 at Loop 424

Shepherd, Texas (June 22, 2023) – Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Shepherd, according to the troopers.

The crash happened around 11:40 a.m., on U.S. Highway 59 at the intersection of state Loop 424.

Troopers said a 2014 Kenworth truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling southbound on US 59. A 2001 Cadillac passenger car disregarded a stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the path of the truck, and it was struck on its left side.

The driver of the Cadillac, 83-year-old Carolyn Davis of Livingston, was transported to Memorial Hermann for treatment. Her passenger, Lloyd Davis of Livingston, was transported to HCA-Conroe for treatment.

The truck driver, 47-year-old Jose Molina of Houston, was uninjured in the crash.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
