Trinidad Gonzalez Killed in Car Crash on Loop 338 in Ector County

Trinidad Gonzalez Killed in Ector County Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 338

Ector County, Texas (September 13, 2020) – According to the Texas DPS, a woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Ector County, about three miles south of Odessa.

The fatal crash was reported around 4:19 p.m., September 10, on Loop 338.

Troopers said a GMC pickup was traveling northbound when it attempted to pass another vehicle and collided with an eastbound GMC pickup truck.

A passenger in the second pickup, Trinidad Gonzalez, 72, of Midland, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were taken to Medical Center Hospital with unknown injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
