David Gonzalez ID’d as Victim Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Highway 90 near General Hudnell Drive

San Antonio, Texas (August 26, 2019) – Authorities have identified the person who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in San Antonio as David Gonzalez, 24.

The deadly accident occurred on Highway 90 near General Hudnell Drive Sunday, August 25.

According to police, Gonzalez was driving his vehicle westbound on Highway 90 when he hit a stalled vehicle on the side of the road near General Hudnell Drive.

Gonzalez then exited his vehicle to inspect the damage and was struck by another car.

Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Gonzalez was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The driver and passenger in the stalled car were uninjured.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
