Deputy Injured in Rusk County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 322 near CR 240A

Rusk County, Texas (April 8, 2021) – A Rusk County Sheriff’s deputy was injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Rusk County, according to authorities.

The crash was reported around 7:27 a.m., on SH 322 near CR 240A.

Authorities said the crash involved a truck tractor and a Rusk County Sheriff’s Office patrol unit.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
