Irving Police Officer Injured in Loop 12 Car Crash; Brianna Noel James Arrested
Irving, Texas (February 18, 2019) – An Irving police officer was hospitalized early Sunday morning after an alleged DUI crash in Irving, according to police.
The accident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, February 17 at the intersection of Loop 12 and Grauwyler Road.
Police said the officer’s car was blocking the left lane at the intersection when it was hit by a vehicle driven by Brianna Noel James.
The officer was transported to Parkland Hospital with unspecified injuries. She was expected to be okay.
James was arrested for DUI.
No other details were immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
