Esteban Herrera Killed in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Gateway West

El Paso, Texas (January 19, 2020) – A teenager was killed on Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in El Paso, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place on Thursday, January 16, on Gateway West.

Police said Esteban Herrera, 19, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe on the left lane of the road, when he cut off another vehicle, clipping it.

The impact caused both drivers to lose control of their vehicles.

The Tahoe rolled over and struck a light pole in the median.

Herrera was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
