Ezechiel Zougou Killed in Abilene Two-Vehicle Crash at Oldham Lane and Industrial Boulevard

Abilene, Texas (April 26, 2021) – A teenager was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday night in Abilene, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened around 8:30 p.m., April 23, at the intersection of Oldham Lane and Industrial Boulevard.

Police said Ezechiel Zougou, 18, of Abilene, was driving a Honda Civic on Industrial Boulevard approaching Oldham Lane when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a Chevrolet pickup.

Zougou was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The pickup driver was treated and released at the scene.

Officers said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
