Food Delivery Driver Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 410 near Jones Maltsberger

San Antonio, Texas – A food delivery driver was killed and another person was injured Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 10:00 p.m., December 13, on the eastbound access road of Northeast Loop 410, near Jones Maltsberger.

Police said a couple in their 20s was in a vehicle driving for Uber Eats when they exited the highway, lost control, hit a highway barrier and hit another vehicle, before crashing through a gated parking lot and finally coming to a stop just before hitting a building.

The driver had to be cut out of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
