Hieu Minh Doan Among 3 Friends Killed in Dallas Crash on LBJ Freeway

Dallas, Texas (March 11, 2019) – Three friends were killed in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning in Dallas according to the authorities.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, on the LBJ Freeway.
Police said Hieu Minh Doan, 23, was the driver among five friends riding in a vehicle after leaving a concert when their vehicle had a flat tire. Doan and two of his friends went out to fix the tire.
As the three friends were fixing the vehicle, a Chevy Silverado crashed into the vehicle and the pedestrians.
Doan and the two friends were killed in the accident. The other two inside the stalled vehicle were injured in the crash.
The driver of the Chevy fled on foot, leaving a 13-year-old boy behind.
There were no details of arrests at the time of the report.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
