Husband Killed and Wife Injured in Houston Trike Motorcycle Accident on Tidwell

Houston, Texas (July 26, 2019) – A husband was killed and his wife was injured Thursday night in a trike motorcycle accident in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred just before 10:00 p.m. July 25, in the 6200 block of Tidwell.

Police said a husband and wife were on the trike when it pulled out of a gas station and attempted to travel westbound on Tidwell but it struck a median and then a fire hydrant. The motorcycle then hit a sedan which was traveling in the opposite direction.

The husband was declared dead at the scene. His wife was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The sedan driver was also taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

The crash remains under investigation.
