2 Killed in Car Crash on I-35 in La Salle County

Two Killed in La Salle County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

La Salle County, Texas (September 27, 2023) – Two people were killed, and a teen was critically injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in La Salle County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 4:30 p.m., September 26, in the northbound lane of Interstate 35 at mile marker 41.

DPS said a commercial truck-tractor collided with a Ford pickup truck, causing the truck to roll over several times.

An adult and a teen were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

Another teenager was critically injured in the crash.

The driver of the commercial truck was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the northbound lane of I-35 at mile marker 39, and traffic was diverted through the access road of I-35.

The crash remains under investigation.
