Innocent Woman Killed in NW Harris County Car Crash at Grand Parkway and Highway 249

Harris County, Texas (October 28, 2023) – According to the deputies, an innocent woman was killed Friday afternoon after a chase suspect crashed into her car in northwest Harris County.

The fatal crash happened on October 27, at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Highway 249.

Deputies said they were pursuing a pickup hauling a motorcycle in its bed that were both reported stolen out of San Antonio. The pursuit began on the parkway at US 290. The pursuit ended at Hwy 249 after the suspect crashed into an SUV driven by a woman.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The suspect was taken into custody.

An investigation is underway.
