Two Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Smith Street and Elgin

Houston, Texas (May 30, 2021) – Two people were injured early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:00 a.m., May 28 at the intersection of Smith Street and Elgin.

Police said a Ford Mustang was heading southbound on Smith Street when it collided with an SUV that was traveling eastbound on Elgin.

The SUV rolled over and landed on top of the Mustang after the crash.

Two people in the SUV were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Mustang driver was taken into custody to be tested if he was drunk at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
