Jackie Pleytez Critically Injured in Spring Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-45 near Cypresswood Drive

Spring, Texas (September 30, 2019) – A woman was critically injured in a five-vehicle crash on Thursday in Spring, according to a local news source.

The crash took place on Thursday, September 26, on the feeder of Interstate 45 north near Cypresswood Drive.

As per the report, 24-year-old Jahson Albert was driving a car when he hit three cars before crashing into a car driven by Jackie Pleytez, 19.

Pleytez was taken to the hospital with a fractured skull and brain swelling. She is currently in a coma.

Investigators said Albert was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash. He was charged with felony reckless aggravated assault.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
