Augustin Uribe Killed in McAllen Two-Vehicle Crash on N. 10 Street; Angelia Villarreal Arrested

McAllen, Texas (May 6, 2022) – One person was killed, and a woman was arrested following a DUI crash Thursday morning in McAllen, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:52 a.m., May 5, in the 9700 block of N. 10 Street.

Police said Angelia Mia Villarreal, 28, was driving when she rear-ended another vehicle driven by Augustin Molina Uribe, 62, of Edinburg.

Uribe was pronounced dead at the scene.

Villarreal was arrested at the scene for intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony. 

The police are investigating the crash.
