Jaime Ramos Killed in Guadalupe County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 123

Guadalupe County, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Thursday evening in a head-on collision in Guadalupe County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m., December 14, on State Highway 123 just south of FM 1101 near Malmsten Road.

Authorities said a red 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt was traveling on the wrong side of the highway in a no-passing zone when it crashed head-on into a white 2023 Nissan Kicks.

55-year-old Jaime Ramos was trapped inside the Cobalt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan Kicks was extricated and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
