Jenny Gonzales-Zepeda Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident at Lamar Boulevard and Ken Drive; Moises Balderas-Martinez Arrested

Austin, Texas (August 27, 2021) – The woman who was killed last week Thursday in a hit-and-run crash in Austin has been identified as Jenny Gonzales-Zepeda,29, according to the Austin Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 11:36 p.m., August 19, at the intersection of N. Lamar Boulevard and Ken Drive.

Police said Gonzales-Zepeda was walking across the street to meet a friend when she was struck by a Nissan driven by Moises Balderas-Martinez, 19.

Balderas-Martinez fled the scene after the accident.

Gonzales-Zepeda was pronounced dead at the scene.

Balderas-Martinez was later arrested and was taken into custody. He has been charged with failure to stop and render aid.
