Jesse Lavergnei Dies in Leon County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 7, Feb 12

Leon County, Texas (February 15, 2019) – A construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle while working on Tuesday in Leon County.
According to the authorities, the crash took place at about 6:45 p.m. February 12 on Highway 7 near Centerville.
Police said Jesse Lavergnei, 22, was picking up road signs when an eastbound vehicle struck him.
Lavergnei died in the crash.
There were no reports on the identity of the driver involved.
The DPS is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
