Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Wurzbach Road

San Antonio, Texas (September 27, 2020) – A man in his 20s was fatally hit by an intoxicated driver early Sunday morning in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident happened around 12:05 a.m. on Wurzbach Road.

According to the report, a woman was driving an SUV eastbound on Wurzbach Road when she crossed over the double yellow line and drove down the sidewalk where she hit the man who was walking westbound.

The woman then hit a tree before stopping at the parking lot of a Well’s Fargo Bank.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The woman was arrested for suspicion of DWI.

An investigation is ongoing.
